Real Mallorca

Palma de Mallorca is a wonderful city to visit and a match at the 'Visit Mallorca' Stadium (previously Son Moix) is an attractive venue to enjoy a match combined with the delights the city has to offer.
Where to stay

The stadium is around 2 miles from the city centre in the industrial area of Ca'n Valero so staying in the city centre is recommended.

Plaça Major is at the heart of the city centre but Palma is a fairly compact city so staying near Plaza España or the Cathedral would also provide a good base to discover the city. If you're looking to stay close to the beach, Platja de Can Pere Antoni is just over a mile from the city centre.

Of course, there are a number of popular destinations in Mallorca if you wanted to visit the city for the day, either by hiring a car or through the excellent transport links across the island. The main train and bus station, Palma Intermodal Station, is located across from Plaza España.

How to get to Son Moix stadium

As the stadium is only 2 miles from the city centre, it can be reached by foot in under an hour.

Regular bus services run from Plaza España to the stadium. Bus lines 6 and 8 leave from 2 Plaza España and take around 20 minutes to reach the stadium at 1026-Can Valero - Zona comercial.

Where to go before a Real Mallorca match

The Cathedral is around 20 minutes walk to Plaza España with Plaça Major in between the two and there are many cafes, bars and restaurants throughout this central area. Bar Espana and the unusual but fascinating decoration of Bar Abaco are particularly worth the visit.

At the stadium, Mallorcafe has a large terrace and provides a great option for it's atmosphere in the build up to a match. Open 7 days a week, it's also a good option if you've just done the stadium tour or as a meeting point for fans wanting to watch Real Mallorca away matches together.
