Osasuna

Based in Pamplona, world famous for the 'running of the bulls', Osasuna play at El Sadar Stadium which was heavily renovated in 2020 giving an enclosed arena holding 23,500 spectators.

Casco Antiguo (Old Town) is the place to stay and anywhere close to Plaza del Castillo will provide a great base to see the best sights the city has to offer.

How to get to El Sadar Stadium

The Stadium is 2 miles from Plaza del Castillo and should take around 40 minutes to walk. 

Alternatively Bus L11 from Avenida Zaragoza 6-8 (10 minute walk from Plaza del Castillo) to Vial A Galaria takes around 15 minutes.

Where to go before an Osasuna match

Casco Antiguo has so many great options which make it the best area take in the atmosphere. There are a number of bars surrounding Plaza del Castillo such as Bar Gaucho and a previous Ernest Hemingway hangout Cafe Iruna, but you can't really go wrong with any of the bars you like the look of in this area.

Fortress and city walls - Well maintained from the 16th Century and provide a calm and interesting walk.

Museo de Navarra - History of the area from prehistoric times to the present day.

Planetarium - Watch a journey through space from the comfort of your chair.

Fiestas de San Fermin - Popular celebration which takes place 7th - 14th July and includes the running of the bulls.
