SD Huesca

Segunda Division Champions in 2020, Huesca will be playing La Liga football for just their second season since being founded in 1960. Huesca is based in Aragon, northeastern Spain and has a population of just over 50,000 with a stadium holding under 8,000 spectators.
How to get there and where to stay

Zaragoza is the closest city with an international airport which is 50 miles from Huesca. There are regular trains and buses between Huesca and Zaragoza which takes around an hour.

Huesca old town near the Cathedral provides a great base to discover the impressive history, bars and sights of the city.

How to get to El Alcoraz Stadium

The stadium is just over a mile from old town so should take no longer than half an hour to walk.

There is also a regular bus service - Circular Line C2 from Universidad (just a few minutes walk from the Cathedral) to Insalud which takes around 20 minutes.

Where to go before a Huesca match

We would recommend staying close to old town as there are a number of good options such as Bar Rugaca and Bar Rigones. If you walk from old town then Bar Tente de Pie provides a good stop off point halfway to the stadium.

Not to miss while you're in Huesca

Huesca Cathedral - Built between 13th - 16th Century, this Gothic style Cathedral looms large over old town.
